Our Story

Mehroz Ashraf's journey into the world of luxury jewelry is a tale of tradition, innovation, and global expansion. It began in 2005 when a young Mehroz started assisting his father, Muhammad Ashraf Shaikhani, in his established Gold and Jewelry business in Pakistan. This early exposure kindled his interest in the family business.

2009

In 2009, as a college student, Mehroz leveraged his business studies to revitalize his father's company. He rebranded the business, embracing digital marketing and social media to broaden its reach.

2011

By 2011, Mehroz faced a pivotal decision: join the family business full-time or seek further knowledge. However, Mehroz knew that with old methods and traditional way of operating business, the growth for his fathers business will remain very limited. Choosing the latter, he convinced his father to let him study in the UK. His goal was to blend traditional expertise with modern entrepreneurship, ultimately transforming the family business into a renowned brand

2011 To 2019

Between 2011 and 2019, Mehroz completed his undergraduate and master's degrees in Entrepreneurship and International Innovation at a prestigious UK business school. This period was crucial for gaining insights into business expansion strategies.

2020

The Birth Year of Mehroz Designer Jewellery

Mehroz decided to launch his own jewellery line under his own name in the UK under Mehroz Designer Jewellery. This business was launched with a vision to create a distinctive collection, elegant designs and innovative craftsmanship to suit UK's market followed by years of legacy from his ancestors.

2021

Bournemouth Exhibits

Mehroz Designer Jewellery started to open its exhibits at one of the biggest hotel group in Bournemouth, Oceana Hotels. These exhibits targeted a global clientele, enhancing the brand's image and reach.

2022

The Spring Exhibition and London Exhibits

2022 saw further growth with the first spring exhibition in London's elite Sloane Street and a new exhibit in the Westfield Shopping Mall. These strategic locations helped in capturing a diverse and upscale market.

2023

2023 was a year of further expansion in Bournemouth, with Mehroz launching his summer collection at the iconic Hermitage Hotel. The collection's success attracted VIPs, leading business figures, and even the Mayor of Bournemouth, who became a patron of the brand. The Mayor of Bournemouth not only admired the collection but now also owns several of our summer collection pieces.

2024

Mehroz Ashraf was recognized and awarded as the Youngest and Fastest Growing Entrepreneur in both the UK and Pakistan. The year 2024 also marked a significant era as the business welcomed Zhalay Sarhadi, a leading name in entertainment industry, as the new face of Mehroz Designer Jewellery, further elevating the brand's visibility and appeal.
